Tedd M. Alexander III, Managing Partner, is the founder of Credo Capital Management. He is responsible for portfolio management, client service, and investment research in addition to providing leadership and vision, charting the firm's strategic course, setting corporate priorities, and advancing the firm's collaborative, collegial, performance-based culture. Mr. Alexander has been in the industry since 1985. Prior to founding Credo in 2004, he held the position of Vice President and Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Brown Capital Management where among other responsibilities co-managed over $2.5 billion of institutional assets as a member of the large/mid cap investment team. Tedd has managed equity and balanced accounts for both institutional and individual investors. During his career, he has also held the position of sell-side analyst at Alex. Brown & Sons, and Legg Mason, and investment banking associate at E.F. Hutton. He earned a BA in Computer Science from Morehouse College and a MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. Tedd is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Gilman School, Baltimore School for the Arts, and Stocks in the Future.
